Take the packaging machine for example, which is indispensable to dispensing operations.Since our founding in 1964, we have been rapidly developing sliding and R-disk split mechanisms.As soon as it hit the market, it was commercialized and became the industry standard.As one of the original industry leaders, the history and evolution of drug dispensing machines is synonymous with YUYAMA.

In the midst of all these changes, the one constant remained the need for medical services. In the last several years, we observed an uptick in the need for medical services.
YUYAMA, which is always looking to use technology to enhance the human experience with in healthcare, developed medical devices to make technology user friendly and interactive experience. An example of the medical devices developed is the YUNiCOM Dispensing System which was designed to streamline the proliferation of informed consent for medical providers. Our talented sales team are sensitive to our customer’s needs. Through their highly valued relationship with customers, they are able to capture and effectively communicate the customer’s needs which are then reflected in the craftsmanship of our products.
Obtained ISO 9001 certification
In March 2003, YUYAMA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. acquired the ISO9001 certification, which is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization.
ISO9001 certification shows that an internal quality management system has been established, and a third-party inspection institution has certified that the system is operating according to the requirements.
We will continue to strive even further to heighten client satisfaction and level of trust in us.
Obtained ISO 14001 certification
YUYAMA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. has obtained ISO 14001 certification in September 2003 ahead of industry competitors.
ISO14001 is an international standard for "environmental management system" that certifies that a company has adopted environment-friendly production practices and systems.
Our Okayama Factory has been officially recognized of its continuous effort in reducing waste and energy consumption, recycling and adopting clean production systems.
Yuyama Manufacturing will continue to not only improve quality and client satisfaction level, but also environmental and societal satisfaction levels.

Obtained ISO 13485 certification
YUYAMA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.
In September 2006, YUYAMA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.'s head office factory, factory #2 and R&D Building have all obtained the ISO 13485 International Standard.
ISO 13485 is an international standard for quality management systems specialized in the medical device industry, and requires quality control and assurance with a high degree of expertise for medical devices that significantly impact human life and health.
Both domestic and international medical device regulations are established through compliance with ISO 13485. We proud ourselves in being recognized as having a system that can maintain quality on a global scale, and will continue to evolve even further.
Selected as a “Driving Company for Regional Future”

YUYAMA CO., LTD. was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in December 2018 as a “driving company for regional future.”
As a company that recognizes the value of doing business locally, we proactively promote and actively develop regional business partnerships that impact the economic growth in those areas.
In December 2017, approximately 2148 companies were selected nationwide, and 46 companies in Osaka Prefecture were selected. On December 25, 2018, an additional 1543 companies nationwide (of which 44 are in Osaka) were additionally selected.
As a company that drives a regional future, our goal is to further promote regional contribution.

Privacy Mark Certified
In August 2008, YUYAMA CO., LTD. has been certified by Medical Information System Development Center (MEDIS-DC), a designated organization that’s accredited to provide certification for “privacy marks in the health and welfare fields,” and has been approved to use the privacy mark by Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC).
The usage of privacy mark is granted to and approved for businesses with a system that appropriately protects personal information.The “privacy mark system for the healthcare and welfare industries” is generally the same as that for general businesses, but follows the certification guidelines of privacy marks in healthcare and welfare fields that are formulated according to “JIS Q15001,” and targets hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies that handle specific, sensitive personal information that is not usually handled by a general business (JIS Q 15001 188.8.131.52), and also targets businesses affiliated with insurance medical welfare and general welfare (if more than 50% of handled personal information fall under the above category), and is particularly distinguished to be referred to as the “privacy mark system for the healthcare and welfare industries.”
As a business that properly handles sensitive personal information such as patient and diagnosis information that is provided by our clients in the medical field, Yuyama strives to continuously improve and proactively manage our personal information protection standard.
