Can you tell me the background that led to your decision to buy ZENITH?
When patients come into our pharmacy and sit in the waiting area, they usually glance into the dispensing room. I wanted to create a visually attractive and clean space, and Yuyama’s dispensing unit has a striking elegance.
Initially I was considering a standard dispensing unit (UNI-ACE ver.M) but, right at that time, a salesperson came by with a ZENITH catalogue. It was exactly what I had in mind, so I decided to purchase it.
It’s a unique and cutting-edge color scheme for a dispensing room. How did you choose the colors?
I’ve had a designer helping me to design the space since the initial construction of this pharmacy. With their advice, I chose ZENITH color scheme and arranged the orange and white diagonally to match the Swedish shelves I have purchased earlier.
Haugen Pharmacy (Kanagawa Prefecture) is such a place.
We wanted our waiting room to feel and look like a lobby of a first-class hotel.
Mr. Kaneko: I see value in creating a space where people can wait in comfort. There is a limit to how much we can shorten medication wait times, so we must be creative in finding ways to enhance services.
I tell my receptionists to look at and read the patient’s face and if they look restless, for example, to ask “Are you in a hurry? Let me check on your medication preparation.”
Interviewer: The patient always comes first, right. It’s wonderful to hear that ZENITH can support admirable aspirations such as yours, Mr. Kanako.
