Maintaining a Smooth Flow of Medication with Peace of Mind
EVINOTE Medication Recording System
First, can you tell me about what led you to buy the EVINOTE?
At the Aobadai store (Kanagawa), we assign expert pharmacists to check and do a final evaluation to ensure that prescriptions are in order. After that, the pharmacist in charge gives medication instructions and hands over the medication at the counter. EVINOTE’s greatest strength is an added sense of security that doesn’t interrupt workflow. With medication dispensing accuracy, EVINOTE allows us to concentrate on our work.

The cameras were installed on the ceiling during the store renovation. Can you tell me about the installation process?
The LAN cable connecting the ceiling camera to the computer passes through the ceiling and the power switch is taken from the LAN cable, giving it a sleek and clean appearance.
You have an EVINOTE camera in the dispensing room and over the front counter, right?
We installed the EVINOTE above the inspection table to specify the inspection location and introduced automated dispensing equipment, where possible, to streamline the workflow of our pharmacists. This is far more efficient than our other stores. Allocating each task and position to a specific area allows our pharmacists to concentrate on inspections and enhances accuracy.

Can you give me an example of a time when the recorded images have proven useful?
I had a situation where a patient claimed there was a medication shortage and could showed them the images recorded on EVINOTE. Offering visual evidence of us handing over medication is much stronger than simple word-of-mouth. It is also extremely useful for confirming whether we gave a receipt or offered correct change afterwards.
